ABOUT US
We believe every human being has the right to access to tools that help us to live happier, healthier, more connected and compassionate lives. A Mindful Heart exists to bring these tools through mindfulness education to anyone regardless of race, socioeconomic class, religion, gender, political views, or sexuality. For the good of all of humanity, we serve with love.
OUR VISION
We envision an Atlanta where everyone thrives. By recognizing that suffering is non-discriminatory, we endeavor to give the gifts of understanding ourselves and the human experience to people from all walks of life. In order to create a more peaceful, happier, accepting city, we must first start with ourselves.
WHAT WE DO
Our peer reviewed and collaboratively constructed mindfulness programs have been tailored to the unique needs of the communities we serve. Through our buy one, give one business model and the support of our funders, we offers these programs to the underserved communities of Atlanta free of charge.
OUR COMMUNITY
Atlanta is home to 5.6 million people and over 150,000 businesses. With permanent art installations to the expansion of the beltline, Atlanta is growing at a rapid rate, but we can't forget who we are and where we came from. That is why we serve some of Atlanta's oldest and most in-need communities. We recognize that real growth only happens when we all make the shift together.
